Charity Work

LouiseLouise and Tony felt they had been so lucky to have been given Fairy Wishes they decided they should give something back and when they heard of a little girl who loved Fairies, receiving treatment for Leukaemia at Yorkhill Children’s Hospital, Louise called the hospital to see if she could visit her. That little girl had gone home, but Louise was told there were lots of other children there that would love a visit so she decided to go along. “That has to be THE most rewarding thing we have been given through Fairy Wishes" says Louise. To see these children light up because a pink Fairy appears at the door to their room Louise with a young patientis just phenomenal. Louise now visits every month.

Dear Louise,

On behalf of myself and my colleagues at Yorkhill Children's Hospital, I would like to thank you and your husband for donating your time and energy to help us by doing nail painting at our Easter egg hunt. Your generosity was very much appreciated.

The Easter egg hunt was a great success and everybody seemed very kean to have their nails painted and we know you worked really hard. You will be pleased to know that although we do not have a final figure yet that with your help we managed to raise approximaitely £800 and there was lots of interest in making this an annual event. Hope to see you next year!

Again thank you very much for your support.

Yours sincerely
